Wes serves as a coordinator for McKinney ISD at Boyd High School. This will be his 7th year at Boyd, and he has previously served in the same capacity at Stephenville, Marcus, Allen and Northwest ISD. Wes is entering his 11th year as a member of the Performance Course Team. Wes is a graduate of Webber International University in Lake Wales, FL where he earned a Business degree in Sports Marketing in 2007. Before his move to Texas in 2011, he coached football collegiately at his Alma Mater, WIU. While at WIU, Wes served as Outside Linebackers/Strong Safeties/ Special Teams Assistant, as well as off-season coordinator for WIU’s football strength and conditioning program. Wes is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Wes makes his home in Celina, TX with his wife Sarah, daughter Layla (5) and son Walker (2). They attend Prestonwood Baptist Church North Campus. In his free time, Wes enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, live music, and fellowship with friends and family.
