Stephen Baca
Stephen has been with Performance Course since 2009 and currently serves as the coordinator for programs in Coppell and Highland Park ISD. Prior to that, he was in the same role at both McKinney ISD and Allen ISD. Stephen is also the director of youth programming and key architect of the PC Leadership Academy.
Stephen grew up in a family of Texas high school coaches and then went on to have a successful career as a quarterback and wide receiver at Adams State University. In his time with PC, Stephen has been involved with numerous state championship programs in basketball, football, wrestling and soccer. In addition to the team success, he led the training of the second best athlete rating in Nike Sparq combine history. Stephen has also mentored and trained countless athletes that have gone on to play in college at the Division-1 level as well as several professional athletes most notably Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray. Because of his inspirational and energetic coaching style, Stephen is often asked to do motivational speaking engagements.
He resides in Little Elm, Texas with his wife Amanda, son Rylan and daughter Austin.
Stephen is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Level One Sport Coach through the USA Weightlifting Association (USAW-1).
